Technology Innovation Institute (TII) is the dedicated applied research institute of the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The institute conducts world-class research across artificial intelligence, advanced computing, quantum technologies, robotics, autonomous systems, secure systems, and other frontier technologies.

TII brings together internationally recognized scientists, engineers, and researchers to develop breakthrough technologies that address global challenges while supporting the UAE’s long-term vision of becoming a global leader in innovation and advanced technology.

The institute is internationally recognized for developing the Falcon family of open large language models (LLMs), one of the world's leading open-source foundation model series. Through collaboration with academia, industry, government, and international partners, TII contributes to advancing responsible artificial intelligence, scientific research, and next-generation technologies with global impact.
