Abu Dhabi–based G42, through its sovereign agentic AI company Inception42, and Microsoft announced a deeper integration aimed at letting governments and enterprises deploy AI agents while keeping sensitive data processed inside the UAE. According to The National’s reporting of Inception42’s statement, Inception42’s Catalyst platform will work directly with Microsoft Copilot so organisations can build agents on Catalyst and access them through Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams, Outlook and Word without rebuilding them across systems. The collaboration is framed as support for the UAE’s national agentic AI initiative, which targets AI support for 50 percent of federal government operations within two years, and broader workforce training plans covering 80,000 workers. Inception42 CEO Ashish Koshy said demand for agents is moving faster than any single platform can meet alone, while Microsoft UAE’s Amr Kamel emphasised in-country processing alongside everyday productivity tools. Separately on the same day, Abu Dhabi’s government announced Microsoft 365 Copilot rollout to tens of thousands of public-sector employees under its Frontier Employee Programme.
