The release adds over 26 million new predicted protein structures and brings the total to more than 241 million (AlphaFold DB v6: 241,070,489 predicted structures, including 40,054 isoforms, versus v4’s 214,683,829). Release notes detail upstream UniProt-driven adds, removals and sequence changes, and clarify that many “unchanged” entries received metadata updates while retaining prior model coordinates.
