Purpose

AI20 × Bedaya × EXHub BuildX — Global Tech & Investment Challenge 2026 is a UAE-based global initiative with Abu Dhabi as its primary program base. It explores technology capability and venture potential through evidence, practical challenges and human-led evaluation.

Voluntary, unpaid participation

Participation and challenge contributions are voluntary and unpaid. Participation is not employment, commissioned work or an obligation to deliver commercial production services. Any later paid work or commercial use needs a separate agreement. Participants may decline or withdraw.

No guaranteed outcome

Application, qualification, challenge participation or Top 10 selection does not guarantee employment, investment, funding, incubation, partnership, commercial engagement or an opportunity introduction. Any subsequent engagement requires separate review, consent and agreement.

Your work remains yours

Participants and other rightful owners retain their intellectual property. Submission does not transfer ownership or grant a general commercial, sublicensing or AI-training license to AI20, Bedaya or EXHub. Participants must have the rights needed to submit and identify third-party/open-source material and applicable licenses.

Limited evaluation permission

By choosing to submit under the final approved rules, participants permit authorized organizers and assigned reviewers to access and make only the limited internal copies needed to administer and evaluate that submission, for the disclosed retention period. Publication, demonstration outside evaluation, marketing, commercialization or other reuse requires separate specific permission from the rights holder first.

Confidentiality and safe evidence

Review materials are restricted to authorized administration and review. Do not submit passwords, access tokens, sensitive personal data, confidential client information or trade secrets requiring special protection. Use redacted or synthetic demonstrations. No NDA or absolute confidentiality guarantee is created; arrange any necessary confidentiality terms before sharing protected material.

Originality and attribution

Represent your contribution honestly. Identify collaborators, reused components, licenses and material AI assistance. AI tools do not remove responsibility for accuracy, rights, safety or explaining how the work operates. Do not fabricate performance, users, revenue or credentials.

Prohibited submissions

Do not submit unlawful, infringing, malicious, deceptive, discriminatory or harassing material; unauthorized personal data; credential theft tools; or evidence obtained through unauthorized access. Do not attack live systems, execute malware or use the challenge to solicit investment from reviewers.

Evaluation and conflicts

Evaluation considers technology, evidence, market opportunity, business model, scalability, investment readiness and team execution in context. Scores inform people; they do not automatically accept or reject. Reviewers disclose actual, potential or perceived conflicts and recuse when required. Moderation and selection reasons are recorded privately.

Organizer discretion and fairness

Organizers may clarify requirements, request evidence, adjust a stage or cancel where necessary for safety, legality or operational feasibility. Material changes should be communicated consistently and allow affected participants a reasonable withdrawal route. Discretion does not authorize arbitrary discrimination, retroactive IP transfer or unannounced commercial obligations.

Withdrawal

Contact Admissions@ai20.global to withdraw from the challenge and include your application reference. Contact Privacy@ai20.global for access, correction, consent withdrawal or deletion requests. Operations verifies the request, records it, stops further participation where requested and applies the published retention policy. Withdrawal from publication is distinct from withdrawal from the challenge.
